How govt is preparing students for digital jobs

ICT ministry Permanent Secretary Dr Aminah Zawedde said yesterday that investing in students was critical because universities provide a ready pool of young people who can be equipped with skills required in the digital economy.

“Investing in Uganda’s youth is investing in the country’s future. These hubs equip young people with the skills and support needed to innovate, create jobs, and contribute meaningfully to the digital economy,” Dr Zawedde said.

She was speaking at Busitema University in eastern Uganda during the handover of the second MTN ACE Spark Innovation Hub.
